Scammers may send emails that look like they came from Later, a brand, or a payment provider. Before you click a link, share information, or enter a code, check what the email is asking you to do.
Watch for a Fake Mavely Migration Request
If you’ve already interacted with one of these emails, contact support@later.com or submit a support ticket immediately.
Later will never refer to your account as a Mavely account.
Check the Sender and the Request
Look at the sender’s full email address, not just the name shown in your inbox. Important transactional emails from Later come from an @later.com address. Campaign outreach may come from other addresses, including a brand’s domain or @latercampaigns.com.
Watch for these warning signs:
- Changed letters, extra words, or a familiar domain followed by another domain
- Requests for your password, a verification code, payment details, or other personal information
- Unexpected attachments or links to sign-in pages
- Pressure to act immediately or warnings that you’ll lose access if you don’t
A familiar-looking sender address does not prove an email is safe. If you’re unsure, don’t use the email’s links or attachments. Open a new browser tab, go to later.com yourself, and check your account. You can also contact support@later.com.
Check Campaign Application Links
Brands run their own campaigns, so campaign outreach can come from different email addresses. If an email invites you to apply, check the full address in your browser before you sign in.
A legitimate campaign application URL starts with one of these addresses:
https://app.later.com/campaigns/https://creators.mave.ly/campaigns/
Check for changed letters or extra words in the address. The link text in an email may differ from the page it opens.
Handle Unexpected Password Resets and Verification Codes
If you receive a password reset email you didn’t request, don’t click its link. If you need to reset your Later password, go to later.com yourself and start the reset there.
You’ll receive a verification code for Tipalti and Later Creator when you’re updating your payment profile on the platform. If you receive a code without taking that action, don’t enter it anywhere or share it with anyone. Contact support@later.com and tell the team you received a code you didn’t request.
If You’ve Already Shared Information
If you entered your Later login details on a suspicious page or shared them by email, go to later.com yourself and reset your password immediately.
